Library Fundraiser

This Friday, September 6, there will be a fun community event that will also be a fundraiser for the Bondurant Library. The Bondurant Library does not receive any funds and relies solely on donations to purchase books, provide free internet, run a children’s reading program and pay for speakers. The fundraiser will be a spaghetti dinner, silent auction, pie sale

and bingo at St. Hubert’s Church.

The cost of the event is $45 per person, kids eat for free.

Please BYOB

Social hour begins at 5pm, dinner and bingo from 6-8pm

Please see the Event Page for information on how to purchase tickets and who to contact with questions.

Silent Auction

There are many wonderful items including:

  • Claudia Roberts’ quilts

  • Jewelry

  • Pottery

  • A Coral and Tusk table linen

  • A stay-cation at the Four Seasons

  • And many, many more!

Heritage Day

Heritage Day was a great success once again. Thank you to Claudia Roberts for doing a wonderful job putting it all together!

Church

Church services will continue through the winter. The schedule is still being determined. Security cameras have been installed around the church for safety.

Yoga

Yoga is held at the church every Monday at 9am and every Thursday at 6:30pm. Yoga will continue in the winter.

POPS

Preserve, Organize, Protect and Share the history of Bondurant.

The mission of this organization is to record the history of Bondurant residents through interviews and collection of items of historical value. It is also important in helping maintain our sense of community here, which we all treasure. POPS is looking for more volunteers to help with the organization.

Please let us know if you’re interested.

BAAM

The next Bondurant Art and Agriculture Market will be Saturday

September 14 from 10am - 2pm at the Branding Iron.

Library

The kids reading program was a great success - Bondurant has some avid readers amongst its youth!

We had fun “scuba diving” into the ocean, playing with sea creatures, and looking for clues to find the prizes for the program.

  • Book club will meet next Tuesday September 10 at 10am to discuss “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus.

  • The last day the library will be open is Saturday September 28. Please come in on a Tuesday or Saturday until then (10am - 1pm) to return items you checked out over the summer and to check out new items to keep all winter.
