Welcome to Bondurant
Located in the heart of the Hoback Basin, northwest Sublette County, Bondurant is a place apart from the hustle and bustle of nearby towns. You call it paradise, we call it home. Unwind, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and let your soul be at peace.
Explore nature's wonders, immerse yourself in the tranquility that surrounds you. Whether it's a hiking adventure, a fishing escape, or simply a moment of reflection by the clear waters, Bondurant offers sanctuary and serenity.
Community
The Hoback Basin is approximately ten miles from end to end, aligned along the braids of the Hoback River and bisected by Scenic Byway, Wyoming Highway 189/191.
The Basin has no commercial town center, although residents proudly patronize the Elk Horn bar/convenience store/gas station, the seasonal Branding Iron Cafe, and the Bondurant post office (zip 82922).
At the heart of the valley, the community's two historic buildings - St. Hubert the Hunter Church and the Library - are central to the community's social and historic fabric. The population strongly supports a volunteer Fire Department and Elementary School.
