BCC’s New President

Christina Rizzo announced that due to the fact that she and her husband Jim will be moving, she has resigned as BCC President. We very much appreciate Christina’s many years of volunteering and we will miss her very much.

But lucky for us, Lisa Robertson has agreed to step in as the new BCC President! We are very excited to welcome Lisa and look forward to all her great ideas and positive energy.

Heritage Day

Heritage Day is this Saturday, August 10 from 9am - 2pm at the church. Plenty of bargains to buy, as well as baked goods, raffle tickets and lunch.

Now is the time to bring your gently used items to donate to the sale: Thursday and Friday from 9am to 1pm

Please no electronics, large appliances, heavy furniture, exercise equipment, helmets or kids’ car seats.

Please bring donated baked goods early on Saturday morning.

We also need clean grocery bags to use at the sale if you have any to donate.

We will be setting up tents Saturday morning at 7:30 and would love your help if you’re available.

St. Hubert the Hunter Church

Church services occur every Sunday at 11:15am. The 1st & 3rd Sundays have a Eucharistic Service, and the 2nd & 4th Sundays have Morning Prayer.

Library

The Book Club will meet this Tuesday August 13 at 10am at the library to discuss “James” by Percival Everett.

The Kids Summer Reading Program will be this Wednesday August 14 at 5pm at the library.

The library has been working off of existing funds for several years and is due for a fundraiser to help cover the cost of new books, the kids’ summer reading program and the internet, as well as possibly bringing back a speaker series.

SAVE THE DATE! - details to come, but please save the date of Friday Sept 6 for a fun community fundraiser.

Yoga and BAAM

This Saturday there will be a special yoga class at 9am on the Branding Iron lawn. For $20, you can enjoy a yoga class and an empanada. All are welcome.

Immediately following the yoga class we will have our monthly art and agricultural market - BAAM - from 10 -2

This is the same day as Heritage Day. Since they are just down the highway from each other, it will be easy to enjoy both.

Note- this Thursday, August 8, there will not be a yoga class at the church (due to Heritage Day set up)

Thank you Bill Conley

A great big thank you to Bill Conley for the generous donation of 6 new tents to the BCC to replace the broken ones. Thank you Conleys!

Bondurant Website

Heath Robertson is now creating the Bondurant website and has combined bondurantwyoming.org together with bondurantcommunityclub.org so that you can find all the information you need about anything going on in Bondurant all in one place: bondurantwyoming.org.

The website is absolutely beautiful - please take a look. Thank you Heath!

Next Meeting

The next BCC meeting will be Tuesday Sept 3 at 6:30pm.

Yvonne Bailey

Yvonne Bailey is a retired physical therapist who splits her time between Wyoming and Southern California where her two daughters live. She and her husband Dan like to get involved with the Bondurant community so as to get to know everyone better.
