BBQ

The BBQ was a huge success! Because of all the hard work of so many volunteers, we were able to feed over 600 people!

Thank you everyone!

Raffle tickets for the beautiful quilt are still available ($1 each or 6 for $5). The drawing will be held on Heritage Day. Please contact Janice Sumrall if you’re interested in buying tickets.

This year Gloria Thomas announced that she will be retiring from running the BBQ. We would like to give a big, heartfelt thank you to Gloria for all her years of tireless work on the BBQ. You’re the

best Gloria!

Which means we now need someone else to be in charge of the BBQ. It doesn’t have to be one person. Maybe you have a couple of friends that you work well with that would like to do it all together?

Please give it some thought.

Highway Cleanup

We have had a great response to our request for highway cleanup! All of the sections have been assigned and many are completed. If you leave your bags on the side of the road and they don’t seem to be going away, please don’t worry. It may take a week or so for them to be picked up.

Fire Department

We are happy to report that we have graduated 5 new members for the Bondurant Fire Department!

The Monument Ridge Prescribed Burn is in the final stages. The perimeter is finished and they are finishing a few interior “islands”.

If you plan to burn anything, PLEASE contact the Sheriff’s department BEFORE you do so: 307-367-4378.

If you don’t, the fire department will show up which is very costly. Also, please call and let them know when you are done. If you have any questions regarding fires, what to burn, etc - a good source of information is www.tetonfires.com

POPS

POPS is in need of more volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested.

Library

The library is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 - 1. The next book club is Tuesday July 9 at 10am. The book is The Beekeeper of Aleppo by Christy Lefteri.

Yoga in Bondurant

Yes, you heard that right. We now have yoga in Bondurant! Monday mornings at 9am at the church. $15 for one session or $60 for a 5-pack. It is led by Chelsea, a certified yoga instructor, and it is open to everyone, no matter your level of experience.

Thank you to Lisa Robertson for bringing this opportunity to us!

BCC Website

The BCC website, bondurantcommunityclub.org, had 135 visits in the month of June, the most ever! Please check it out for up-to-date information about Bondurant Community Club events.

Heritage Day

Heritage Day will be Saturday August 10. This day includes a rummage sale, a bake sale, the raffle drawing and lunch available to purchase. More information will be coming regarding what kinds of things can be donated, baked goods needed and volunteers needed.

Note - BAAM (Bondurant Art and Agriculture Market) will be happening on the same day at the Branding Iron.

It will be a fun day in Bondurant - being so close to each other, everyone will easily be able to attend both!

Next Meeting

The next BCC meeting will be Tuesday August 6 at 6:30pm

Yvonne Bailey

Yvonne Bailey is a retired physical therapist who splits her time between Wyoming and Southern California where her two daughters live. She and her husband Dan like to get involved with the Bondurant community so as to get to know everyone better.
