Silent Auction

Browsers examine a few of the Silent Auction items The Silent Auction was begun in 2010, as a feature of the BCC's Heritage Days.

Proceeds from the Auction benefit the Bondurant Library Restoration ongoing projects. After restoration is complete, proceeds will go directly towards upkeep, maintenance and programs.

Silent Auction 2011

Silent Auction 2011 was held outdoors at Heritage Days. It was followed by a much more lavish Silent Auction as part of the first annual Barn Dance on September 10, 2011, which was wildly successful. Everyone had a good time, the competition was fierce but friendly.

In all, the 2011 Silent Auctions earned over $4,000 to benefit the Library Restoration efforts! That money went directly into a new insulated metal Roof and Log, Chinking and Insulation Restoration during the fall of 2011.

Silent Auction 2010 was a great success - sales raised approximately $2,000 for the Library Restoration efforts! That money went directly into the new concrete foundation - which insured that the little log building would survive the wet snowy winter of 2010-2011.

Silent Auction 2012 is already in the planning stages, and promises to be even more fun and interesting. Check back for further developments.
