The Hoback Basin is approximately __ miles from end to end, aligned along the braids of the Hoback River and bisected by Scenic Byway, Wyoming Highway 189/191.

At the heart of the valley, the community's two historic buildings - St. Hubert the Hunter Church and the Library - are central to the community's social and historic fabric. The population (100 year-round, ___ seasonal) also supports a volunteer Fire Department and Elementary School.
